This is also the exact age where many of us have aced how to edit our voices.

Not because we aren’t capable.


But because we’re perceptive. Socially aware. Paying attention to what lands and what doesn’t.

This is often when we learn to soften the edges. To hedge our certainty.
To downplay clarity so we don’t make others uncomfortable.

So we start managing the room before we learn how to fully trust ourselves in it.

We ask permission with our voices before we speak.


We over-explain strong ideas.


We carry responsibility quietly and competently.
